False Joys

Sun rays hurt the soul
Depriving the warmth it was suppose to give
Light now has a different meaning
Like words, deceiving words, painful words

All the messages across the veins
Block the connection of this unaffected sense
Sense, it looses sense, smearing numb, her heart
Every single thing done has become a lovely mistake

In this wide, serene sinister
Lies oh lonely silhoutte, lonely soul
Paint her eyes, paint her lips
Make her smile

And yes, yesterday brings expectations
Ah, expectations, not too much of them
Lose some and see what’s left
Then bring back thy happiness, wipe away false joys
