Perhaps actions indeed, speak louder than words. But then maybe, just maybe, words are stronger. And sometimes even better, than actions. Because words put everything into place. It calmed the sea and brought us light. It made people understand what we wanted with all our might. And with words, all the could-have-been’s and supposed-to-be’s brought about by actions—gone. Eradicated. Eliminated. All the maybe’s and the what-if’s. Words bestow us the signposting that we long for. Words define our place. Underline our limitations. Give us the very thing that we mostly need—this closure.
